Women with a Mission
Thaisa Beach - 459-9127 & Ruth Askey - 279-5417
This ministry is for women with a heart for missions. It is made up of small groups (or circles) of women who support the missionaries through prayer, correspondence and material support. In addition, Women With a Mission studies the Bible together and prays for each other's needs. Circles presents a unique opportunity to learn, serve and connect personally with individuals and mission organizations world-wide. The groups meet at various times during the first week of each month October through May.
Marilyn Hannay - 221-9543 & Lois Arakelian 376-7547
Journey Connections is a ministry designed to reach women of diverse ages and at various stages in their journeys with Jesus Christ. Its purpose is threefold: to meet women where they are, to come alongside them as they seek to grow, and to exhort and encourage them to go further and deeper. There are small groups offered which use Bible study materials selected by the individual group co-leaders. Contact Kathy Tyrrell at 426-0751 or firstname.lastname@example.org to see what is available for getting involved in a group.
We, also, offer small groups which use one of the three books contained in “A Woman’s Journey of Discipleship” series: Bridges on the Journey, which introduces women to a life in Christ; Crossroads on the Journey, which invites women to deepen their walk with Christ; and Friends on the Journey, which equips women to invest their lives in others, who will in turn invest their lives in future generations. Because of the nature of this study, and the fact that each study last approximately eight weeks in duration, these groups are closed once they begin. If you desire to be placed on a waiting list to be involved in the next available group, please contact Kathy Tyrrell at 426-0751 or email@example.com.
